The Stars Are Out There -
Let Me Show You How To Find Them

Have you ever stepped outside on a clear Utah night, looked up at the Wasatch Front sky, and felt like you were missing something? City lights have a way of washing out the brilliance of the Milky Way until the night sky feels flat and forgettable. You know the stars are up there. You can almost sense the scale of it. But between the glow of streetlights and not knowing where to point a telescope, the universe feels just out of reach.

That's exactly the gap I started Eadsy Astronomy to close. For over two decades, I've been helping curious people in Utah bridge the space between everyday life and the infinite wonders above us. My guided night sky tours are built around one simple idea: you shouldn't need a PhD or a $5,000 telescope to feel connected to the cosmos. You just need someone who knows where to look, and I do.

Whether you're a lifelong Utahn who has never seen Saturn's rings up close, or a visitor hoping to capture something truly unforgettable, I'll take you somewhere the stars still shine the way they're supposed to. No guesswork. No equipment headaches. Just you, a clear sky, and a night you'll be talking about for years.

Tired of Dark Sky Searches That Go Nowhere? Here's A Better Way!

If you've ever searched "stargazing near me" and ended up scrolling through a list of parks that are either packed with people or still lit up by nearby towns, you know how frustrating the whole process can be. You pull up a dark sky map of Utah, pick a promising spot, drive 45 minutes out into the desert, and then stand there wondering what you're actually supposed to be looking at. It's a lot of effort for very little wonder.

I've taken all of that uncertainty out of the equation. No matter why you're out here, whether you're a parent hoping to light up a child's curiosity about science, a couple looking for a date night that isn't dinner and a movie, or a solo traveler chasing that perfect long-exposure shot of a nebula, I handle the logistics so you can just be present for the experience.

I bring the equipment, know the land, and choose the viewing location based on that night's conditions. You don't need to know a thing about telescopes or constellations walking in. By the end of the night, you will.

Small Group, Big Sky: Why a Personal Tour Changes Everything

I don't do mass-market stargazing. I keep my tours small, capping each session at 12 guests, because I believe this kind of experience should feel personal. When you're one of dozens of people being shuffled past a telescope, you lose the magic. When you're in a small group with someone who genuinely loves this stuff, the night takes on a whole different quality.

Every 3-hour guided tour is tailored to the group in front of me. I'll walk you through how to use professional-grade equipment, point out deep-sky objects most people have never seen, and answer every question you have along the way, including the ones you think might sound silly. There are no silly questions under a dark sky.

I select viewing spots across the Wasatch Front and Riverton areas based on conditions that night, finding the darkest pockets of sky without sending you on a backcountry hike. If the weather shifts or a site is inaccessible, I adapt. Whether you're joining me for a single evening or booking a multi-session journey, you can count on a thoughtful, unhurried experience from someone who has been doing this for over 20 years.

Utah Skies Are My Backyard

I'm not a pop-up tour company or a weekend hobbyist. I grew up under these skies, and I've spent 26 plus years learning them, reading them, and sharing them with people who are ready to look up. I'm a committed member of this community, and part of what I do is help people understand the impact of light pollution on the natural night sky we all share.

Every tour I run is unique, and my familiarity with the local landscape means I can pivot quickly if conditions change. When you book with Eadsy Astronomy, you're booking with someone who is accountable, experienced, and genuinely invested in giving you a great night out.
